Day 1: A New Journey
As the newly appointed manager of a professional League of Legends e-sports team, I was both excited and nervous to begin my journey. I had watched the game and followed the scene for years, but never did I imagine I would one day be in charge of a team.
Training Day
My first order of business was to meet the team and assess their strengths and weaknesses. I sat down with each player and listened to their goals and concerns. It was clear that they were committed to their craft and respected me as their manager.
The Strategy Meeting
With a clear understanding of the players' abilities, I called a team meeting to discuss strategy. We went over our upcoming opponents and analyzed their playstyles. Together, we came up with a plan that would play to our strengths and exploit our opponents' weaknesses.
Picking and Banning
On game day, I sat with the team and helped them with the pick and ban phase. We had studied our opponents' champion pools and had a clear idea of what we wanted to ban and pick. The players executed our plan perfectly, and we won our first game of the split.
Post-game Analysis
After the game, we reviewed what went well and what could be improved. We looked at our mistakes and discussed how we could avoid them in the future. It was evident that the team was hungry to improve, and we all agreed that we could do better.
The Grind Continues
As the days went by, I worked tirelessly with the team to fine-tune our strategy and develop new ones. We watched replays of our games and analyzed our opponents' game footage. Every day was a step closer to becoming a better team.
Challenges Ahead
As we progressed through the split, we faced challenges from other teams. Our opponents had caught on to our strategy, and we had to adapt quickly to stay ahead. We had to be creative and flexible with our picks and bans, and our players had to adjust their playstyles.
The Final Stretch
With the end of the split approaching, we found ourselves in a tight race for the playoffs. We had to win our last few games to secure our spot. The team stayed focused, and we came out on top. We had made it to the playoffs!
Looking Forward
As I look back on the past few months, I am proud of what we have accomplished as a team. However, there is still much more work to be done. We have higher goals for ourselves, and we will continue to push ourselves to be the best. The journey is far from over, but we are ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
